Take a walking tour of historic downtown Wickenburg. The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce has developed a self-guided tour that takes visitors on an easy stroll downtown filled with historical buildings, artwork, and more. Some famous stops include the Jail Tree, a railroad engine and caboose, the old Wishing Well, the Little Red Schoolhouse, and more.  Pick up a map at the Chamber or download it off their website.

Enjoy Wickenburg’s many off-road trails by renting a variety of vehicles from Happy Trails Powersports Rentals. They provide self-guided tours and rentals and have been exploring and riding the trails since 1983. Or join up with Adventures of a Lifetime ATV Tours, who will customize the tour for all ages and riding abilities. Good Time's Outdoor Fun Rentals provides 1/2 and full day guided and unguided tours for UTVs and ATVs. Or visit TrophyLite, who provides all of your outdoor needs with UTV Rentals hourly, self-guided, or 1-7 day guided tours.

Another way to explore the Wickenburg area is on an ebike, a motorized bicycle. With Ebikes Inc you can rent an ebike and set out on your own or enjoy one of their pre-designed tours.

The Los Caballeros Golf Club sits on 20,000 acres and was rated #7 in 2019 as a top course in Arizona. The traditional championship course was designed to challenge a variety of skill levels. The facility also offers a driving range, putting greens, short-game practice area, golf lessons, and a club grill.

The Wickenburg Country Club was founded in 1949 and offers an 18-hole course that has something for beginning to experienced players. Often referred to as the "thinker’s course", you are sure to enjoy a round at this challenging, championship layout. The club also offers a bar and grill.

Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club has something for golfers of all levels. It has been repeatedly named one of the best golf courses in Arizona. The award winning course, Big Wick, is an 18-hole, par 71 championship course. For a more casual round of golf you can also check out Lil’ Wick, which is a 9-hole, par 3 course. Wickenburg Ranch offers a restaurant and several watering holes throughout their facility.

Parks

The Hassayampa River Preserve is a 770 acre riparian nature preserve run by The Nature Conservancy and Maricopa County Parks and Recreation. This lush, stream-side habitat is home to some of the desert’s most spectacular wildlife, including 280 different species of birds. Self-guided trails take visitors through lush river bottoms and cottonwood, willow, and mesquite forests. Learn more on the history of the River Preserve at the visitor’s center while you are there.

Wickenburg offers several parks that are open year-round. Our parks include picnic areas, ramadas, a skate park, pickle ball, tennis and basketball courts, softball, baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, multi-use concrete paths, walking paths, a sand volleyball court, dog park, rv parking campground, exercise stations, and our seasonal pool and splash pad.

Shooting Range

Located at 1385 Constellation Road, this shooting range focuses on safety and sportsmanship. Various shooting sports are supported by the Wickenburg Sportsmen's Club. Activities include pistol, rifle, trap, air gun, and archery. This is a member's club with limited public access. New members will be required to complete a range safety orientation
