The Town of Wickenburg offers several choices for education. Find the right place for your student in either a private, public, or virtual setting.

Private

The Town of Wickenburg offers two different choices for private education. Visit the Gospel Outreach Christian School or Wickenburg Christian Academy to find out more.

Public

Wickenburg Unified School District Number 9 serves a student population of over fifteen hundred. The district includes Hassayampa Elementary School, Festival Foothills Elementary School, Vulture Peak Middle School, the Wickenburg Virtual Academy, and Wickenburg High School. The small town atmosphere at the schools provides a safe setting for education.

Our award winning high school, Wickenburg High, is pioneering the use of online textbooks and is a recognized leader in digital learning. Wickenburg High School participates in the Move On When Ready program that allows students to advance in their educational career based on demonstrated learning instead of seat time. High school students are able to receive a Grand Canyon Diploma after only two years of high school when they meet a minimum college readiness standard. The school also provides after-school and summer school tutoring to ensure student success. Business, engineering, construction, and culinary arts are just some of the career and technical education offerings on campus, as well as those offered through the regional WESTMEC education center.

Find out more by visiting the Wickenburg Unified School District.
