Tour Boetto Park to view its many unique features, including:

  • Viola Wellik bronze appreciation plaque
  • One-of-a-kind Arizona marble sculpture by Sunrise Mine; the Vietnamese marble base was donated by former Senator John McCain and Mrs. McCain
  • Unique displays of Wickenburg History
  • The park is named for the Boetto family. John Boetto (1874-1957) was an immigrant from northern Italy who arrived in Wickenburg in 1907. Mr. Boetto was the first chief of the Wickenburg Volunteer Fire Department.

About

Coffinger Park is located in downtown Wickenburg. There are many large open areas of green grass and mature shade trees. This is a wonderful family park and is often used to host picnics, birthday parties, reunions, weddings, and more. The park is named for Howard L. Coffinger (1908-1974), a former Wickenburg mayor, school board member, and longtime operator of a local funeral home and ambulance service.

About

The Wickenburg Dog Park is an off-leash, fenced in area, open to the public and their dogs to safely play and get exercise. The Dog Park is owned by the Town of Wickenburg and operated by the nonprofit organization Wickenburg Dog Park, Inc. The organization operates the park solely on donations.

About

Maguire Park is a small park located near several of Wickenburg's most family-friendly neighborhoods. The park is named for Charles L. "The Squire" (1878-1961) and Sylvia (1892-1970) Maguire; prominent residents and philanthropists. Arriving in Wickenburg in 1947, the Maguires financed or developed many of the community's well-known buildings including St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Ranch de los Caballeros, the Wickenburg Country Club, and the Sunny Cove Heights, Maguire Addition, and Country Club Acres neighborhoods.

About

Sunset Park is a sports and recreation complex that houses many youth and adult activities. The property was donated by the late George and Viola Wellik; local philanthropists who owned the historic Flying E Guest Ranch nearby.

About

Stone Park is a unique respite for visitors to Wickenburg's historic downtown and is nestled between Town Hall and the Wickenburg Public Library. The park is ideal for picnics and frequently hosts craft fairs and other community events. The park is named for Russell E Stone, a former Wickenburg mayor and councilman who served during World War II.
