The purpose of Code Compliance is to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare, while providing every citizen of Wickenburg the right to clean and enjoyable neighborhoods. This is accomplished by the Town of Wickenburg working with citizens to ensure they are educated on codes and ordinances and by enforcing these standards.
These regulations are local laws adopted by the Town of Wickenburg City Council that include, but are not limited to, litter, broken-down vehicles, abandoned properties, land use, encroachments, signs, etc.
Common Code Violations:
- weeds
- garbage
- building without permits
- nuisance animals such as roosters
Note:
Not all code violations are handled by Community Development. In the case of parking issues, noise complaints, unregistered vehicles, etc., please contact the Wickenburg Police Department or complete a Citizen's Complaint Form.
Report a Code Violation
- Many issues can easily be resolved before ever contacting the Code Compliance Department by speaking with your neighbor or the individual involved. Many times residents are not aware they are not within compliance. We encourage individuals to reach out to citizens that may have a code violation first. This helps build community involvement, trust, and respect for your fellow community members.
- If needed, contact Code Compliance by calling (928) 684-5451 x1575.
